Prerequisites

  • Good level of English
  • European patent and trademark attorneys with 3 years of professional experience and lawyers with 3 years of professional experience in the field of IP.

Educational objectives

  • To enable accomplished IP professionals to acquire both the theoretical and practical skills needed to meet the new challenges of the knowledge economy, including wealth creation and profit generation based on innovation management.
  • Instill a new vision of intellectual property and how it works in business life
  • Transmit the tools and knowledge necessary to manage IP in the life of the company.

  • Module 5 : 16 - 21 May 2022 - online
  • Module 6 : 13 - 18 June 2022 - in Strasbourg

Duration

250 hours of training spread over 6 months, i.e. approximately 40 hours of classes per month over one week.

Timetable (as an indication)

From 09:00 to 18:00 every day except Saturday (09:00 to 15:00).

Lecturers

Law professors, IP European patent and trademark attorneys, lawyers.

Teaching methods

  • Visual course presentations and discussions
  • Work in small groups to allow exchanges between participants and speakers
  • Individual counseling and question and answer sessions between the speaker and each participant.

Course material

  • Audiovisual equipment and photocopies
  • Exercises and model solutions proposed by CEIPI

Type of training and certification

A questionnaire is distributed to participants at the end of the training to evaluate their satisfaction.

Defense of a thesis

The thesis must be on one of the teaching subjects. The choice of subject is subject to the approval of the professor(s) responsible for the degree. The thesis is defended before a jury. The defense includes a brief presentation of the work by the candidate, followed by a discussion on the theme of the thesis. The thesis is graded out of 20.

6 500 € net of taxes for the academic year 2021/2022.

This training does not allow scolarship nor grants.
