The CEIPI’s Research Department organizes a research seminar on Monday, 19 June 2017, 15h30, room 330, building Escarpe.

The guests of the seminar are:

Prof. Shuya HAYASHI, Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University, Japan. His presentation will focus on “Artificial Intelligence and the Laws in Japan - Focusing on IP and Competition Policy”. Prof. Hayashi is hosted by CEIPI in the framework of the “Japan Group” exchanges at the Maison Universitaire France-Japon. This is a Unistra program designed to promote scientific cooperation and the establishment of new collaborations between Unistra and its Japanese partners.

 


Prof. Sean O'CONNOR, Director of the Center for Advanced Study and Research on Innovation Policy (CASRIP), Faculty Director, Cannabis Law & Policy Project, Chair, UW IP Management Advisory Committee, University of Washington. He will present the book that he wrote during his research stay at CEIPI, “The Methodology and the Means of Innovation”.

The debates will be moderated by Prof. Christophe Geiger, Director General and Director of the CEIPI Research Department.
