From May, 26 to 28, 2015, the CEIPI will attend the 9th Advanced Intellectual Property Research Forum organized by WIPO in collaboration with the CEIPI and other renown academic institutions in Geneva on the topic "Towards a Flexible Application of Intellectual Property Law – A Closer Look at Internal and External Balancing Tools".

  • Mr. Xavier Seuba, Senior Research Associate at CEIPI, will speak on the topic: "Patent Exception for Manufacturing and Exporting Products not Protected in Foreign Markets"
  • Mrs Teresa Calixto Lopez, Doctoral student at CEIPI, will speak on the topic: "Enhancing Knowledge and Technology Transfer Through Socially Responsible Licensing"
  • Mr. Leonardo Pontes, Doctoral student at CEIPI, will speak on the topic: "Freedom of Expression and Trademark Law: Assessing the Impact of External Boundaries"
