Stéphanie Carre

Stéphanie Carre is an Associate Professor at CEIPI since 2005, where she's teaching Copyright Law and Intellectual Property Law. She studied in France (University of Caen and Montpellier) and in England (University of Bristol).
After completing a master degree in Intellectual Property at the University of Montpellier, she received her doctorate in September 2004 from this university with her thesis Copyright and the Public's Interest. She then joined the CEIPI, and became one Academic supervisor for the Erasmus Program at the University of Strasbourg, where she is teaching Intellectual Property. She is also in charge of Intellectual Property courses in the University of Montpellier, Versailles St-Quentin, Paris-Sud, and Skopje (Macedonia). She specializes in national and European Copyright and intellectual property law and takes part in national and international conferences. She was appointed last year as an International Expert in IP law for the GTZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Technische Zusammenarbeit) supported program of master degrees in law involving twelve Universities of East European States. She has published articles on Copyright law (see the list below).
